Red lipstick is definitely a staple item to have when heading into the cooler months.  Every girl should own a great red lipstick in their purse!! There are many brands out there that offer great shades of red.  Drugstore brands are always great to try if you are leery of such a bold color.  I would recommend L’Oreal or Revlon.

It’s fun experimenting with different ones so you can know which shade is truly your own! There is always something exciting about getting a new lipstick, and red looks great when heading out for the day or at night for a hot date!  The red lipstick that is always in my make up bag is by Bourjois and the color is called Fashion Rouge.  It’s an amazing red and looks great when you wear black!

Red lips are also fun to have on those days when you don’t really feel like getting ready.  Just put on some lipstick with your shades and you’re good to go!  Muuuah!!

Another favorite brand of mine is Chanel! These are like the “Ooh la la” lips! Chanel offers some amazing reds and other colors as well. My favorite color has to be Gabrielle red. It’s a great shade of red and not too dark.  I would recommend finding a true red, and not something that looks too pink or dark.
